Start quilling numbers the easy way!

I love quilling a heartfelt gift card for my loved ones. It makes them feel special and they know how much they mean to me, because these handmade gifts are keepsakes forever! Somehow my patience is unending when I'm imagining them opening up their custom made gift, because they know there's no way it can be bought in a mall.

The numbers 0-9, exclamation mark, question mark, and ampersand have been pre-measured, so all you have to do is place your quilling paper on top of my template, then score and trim where indicated. Once you've outlined your number, it's ready for your personalized touch, whether you want to fill with scrolls or closed coils.

The numbers are almost 3" in height when printed on an 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper, however you can easily enlarge or reduce the letter, depending on the capabilities of your printer. All you have to do is:

1. Trace my pattern and trim your paper
2. Score and fold
3. Outline your letter following my template
4. Fill in the letter with quilling shapes

In the samples shown, I've cut my quilling strips from Canson Mi-Tientes paper (160 gsm), 1/4 inch wide. Watch how to cut your own paper by hand or by machine.
