Father's Day Vest Card - Printable PDF

My dad wears his favorite old vest even though I've given him new ones. He doesn't wear a bow tie, but he got a kick out of this card anyway.

It was fun to shade the bow tie and give it depth while really giving a 3D shape; it also keep the vest flaps down when the card is closed.

The detailed buttons and stitching are a cinch to print. The words "Happy Father's Day" is printed on the shirt, which is removable.

The card will stand when the vest is open.

MATERIALS

• 80 lb card stock
• color printer
• scoring tool
• craft knife
• ruler

STEPS

1. Open the PDF file in Adobe Reader (free download at http://get.adobe.com/reader/).

2. Print the card on 8.5 x 11" 80 lb thick card stock (ensure Page Scaling or Resizing is set to None).

3. Score and cut along the guidelines, then fold as shown.
