Happy New Dear everyone! That's right, it's not a typo.
Over the holidays, I designed a reindeer gift box. My nieces and nephews have been growing up so quickly. They're now more interested in things that can be purchased with a gift card, instead of a toy.
However, I still love to make them guess what their gift is, and most gift card boxes are too easy to spot. With this reindeer box, I can add a gift card, lip balm, chocolate, even a mini phone charm. It's kind of like rolling up an advent calendar into one big surprise.
The box can be cut from one sheet of card stock. The muzzle and ears were also cut from card stock. Then I cut the rest out of vinyl to make it easy to assemble and get the shiny nose we all love to sing about.
It's easy to apply the accents because I'm such a control freak, so I made a template to help me see where to place the elements.
The version you see here is an SVG file, and I've made a PDF version for hand cutting as well.
Watch how easy and fun it is to make!
I've been infatuated with this new series of animal boxes that I just can't stop making them! Rudolph's friends are concepts so far, but I hope to add them to my shop soon. I hope you like them as much as I do!
